VPI, the sister company to Vitol, were seeking a Senior Developer on site to build a new team and develop the first critical phase of software hiring. Other than the CTO this was the only technical hire within the company.
The Challenge
The role was high standard which required not only industry but strong technical experience with .NET Core and Azure.
The Solution
Though there weren’t too many candidates with this skill set on a permanent basis, we were able to fulfil the hire by utilising our deep network and headhunting candidates from Energy Trading competitors who had physical power experience.
